Investing in the Community

The name of Ruth Shitrit is known to many as a leading marketing professional, who heads one of the largest Advertising and PR Agencies in Israel, however along with her business success she is also involved in many activities for the benefit of the community, whether she holds an official position, or on a completely voluntary basis.

The issues closest to her heart, in which Ruth invests in the community are varied, but the main ones are these: Firstly, Ruth works to commemorate her daughter Miri Shitrit (of blessed memory), who passed away from cancer when she was 15, and she does a great deal for children with cancer and to raise awareness of the disease; secondly, Ruth works to assist children from families in need; and thirdly to promote and encourage Israeli culturein the framework of her roles at the Philharmonic Orchestra Foundation and on the Board of Directors of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
